KLNE Inverters

KLNE have produced 3 different communication protocols (at least, there may be more) to access data in their inverters. It is not clear which inverters use which protocols. (If you can clarify this please add comments to this page)

The protocols available in PVBC are:

  • A KLNE version of the Phoenixtec protocol that is also used by CMS, SAMIL and some SunnyRoo products. This protocol can only be used with KLNE inverters.
  • A KLNE variant of the standard Modbus protocol. It is not compatible with devices that use standard Modbus.
  • The standard Modbus protocol. This should be able to be used in daisy chain (RS485) with other standard Modbus devices.
